Arcomusical is bursting at the seems with excitement at this Thursday’s concert of six world premieres by a wonderful group of faculty and student composers at the University of California, Davis. Please join us at our Arcomusical YouTube channel this Thursday, February 25th, at 12PM PST / 2PM CST, to be among the first to take in this 50-minute concert of six world premieres. We first met with our composer colleagues on May 13, 2020. The past ten months have been rich with slow, natural, gradual growth toward this wonderful musical goal. The result is a set of six brand new works for Arcomusical like nothing we’ve ever before played. These works have stretched our minds and spirits to reconsider what is “possible” for our instrument and our ensemble, and we are sincerely grateful for it.
